Acid Free Paper is a paper that has a neutral pH which gives the print archival quality. Paper that is made from a wood based pulp without the lignin (acid) removed will deteriorate and yellow over time. Removal of the naturally accuring acids found in wood pulp stablizes the paper for upto 500 years.
